3460 BARRANCAS AVENUE

8.4 kW retrofit roof & canopy mounted, grid tie system, produces approximately 1,100 kw/h per month. 3460 has produced surplus power every month since commissioning in 2010.

The renovation to 3460 Barrancas Ave strives for sustainability.  Over 2000 sq. ft. of asphalt has been removed to allow for new trees, vegetation and for stormwater percolation.  3460 is the first solar powered commercial facility in Escambia County and one of the largest photovoltaic systems in the County.  The 8.4 kw system will produce an average of 1,100 kw hours a month.  3460 Barrancas should be the first “zero energy” building in Pensacola.
